Manuscripts should be polished; please do not submit early drafts.

Final Proofreading: $1.75/page 

Your manuscript is about to go to press, but you want one more set of skilled eyes to check it. This service includes finding typos and typographical mistakes.

General Proofreading: $2.50/page

Your manuscript has been reviewed and revised, and you need someone to look for typos, spelling errors, punctuation discrepancies or errors, capitalization errors, and awkward grammar.

Proofreading and editorial commentary: $3.75/page 

Your manuscript has been revised and you think it is good, but you want more than just a final proofreading. This service includes the general proofreading feedback, critical commentary on the content of your manuscript, and light revision to improve flow.

Substantive editing and rewriting: $5.75/page

You feel like you have great ideas and have written a remarkable piece, but you need an objective editor to take a look at your manuscript and help it become what you envision. This service includes extensive rewriting, elimination of extraneous details and language, and critical feedback regarding the content and fluidity of your story.

Turnaround time will vary. Expedited service is available for an additional fee.

Please submit documents in Word, Google Doc, or PDF format. Any manuscripts you send are your intellectual property. We pride ourselves in protecting your rights.

Green Ink Proofreading accepts Visa, MasterCard, and direct payments through PayPal. A 50% deposit is required to begin work with the balance due upon completion. There is a $40 minimum for any service.
